Sunset Park

Description

Sunset Park is a dramatic basketball film. It was written by Seth Zvi Rosenfeld and Kathleen McGhee-Anderson. Directed by Steve Gomer, the movie was produced by Danny DeVito. The story follows P.E. teacher Phyllis Saroka (played by Rhea Perlman) in New York City. After becoming aware of an opportunity to coach a basketball tram at Sunset Park High School, she decides to apply for the job. She knows nothing about basketball but, through her contacts, lands the job.
