Genesis

Description

Genesis is a 2004 documentary focusing on how life on earth, as well as the Earth itself, got it's start. The film was directed by two directors, Claude Nuridsany and Marie P¨rennou, respectively. The film mainly consists of several different species of animals; these wild beast are captured on camera, from birth til death. This journey is photographed with special cameras which allow the viewer to delve into the animal world like never before. This attention to detail is due, namely, to the clever implementation of innovative stop motion technology which allows the viewer to see animal behaviors that are to slight or slow to normally be observed (such as a chicken desperately struggling to hatch before it dies of starvation).
